Hey friends,
There is something that we want to bring into the limelight for the day. It is about a noble cause of visiting and helping orphanage homes. I'm sure that quite a few of us are interested to get involved in social welfare activities. But there are few who are still finding our ways to do it. So, let us all join our hands to gain much larger and huger strength. Let us make it happen! Being a student we can do a lot more than one can ever imagine. Take a step ahead, its our duty to pay back the debt to our society.
Hope you guys are aware that few students have involved in helping the needy. So far we have been doing it as small groups. We visited few orphanage homes and figured out the means to help them. We have been visiting only reputed organisations till now. This time we have decided to help the people who are in "REAL NEED". There are so many such small orphanage organisations with few caretakers struggling to satisfy their basic needs.
As our first step, we spoke to a small orphanage home named CANNAN LOVING HOME.This home is currently incharge of 35 children of ages 6 - 18. They stay in a rented place (Rs.12000/-). They are in need of money to manage the rent and food for the children. The children get their lunch that the government provides in schools. Other two meals are met with utmost difficulty. They depend on people who fund (for a day or so)for their dinner. They are not asking for any dresses or toys but they would appreciate anything in the form of food or cash.
So, all that we expect from you people is to spread the word and collect people who can contribute to fund them.
